Welcome to Dr. Vodder Training Ireland

Medical integrative therapies complement the conventional medical model. They aim to improve symptom control and thus quality of life. By taking a holistic approach to a person, their life experience and their current situation, we are mindful that when the intricate web spun between body, mind, emotion and spirit is thrown out of balance – we are affected in different ways. The aim of these therapies is to identify this imbalance, then help restore a sense of equilibrium to the person as a whole.

Meadbh MacSweeney qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1986 having trained at the Bon Secours Hospital in Cork. This led to a successful nursing career over two decades in Ireland and Italy. Returning to Ireland, she played a significant role in the development of the Bon Secours Health Lodge and the integration of its services with the Bon Secours Hospital. She continues to bring her wealth of knowledge directly to the patients, propelling her to the forefront of integrative medicine in patient care.

Meadbh is  the only certified basic teacher of the Vodder Technique (M.L.D.) in Ireland and has studied comprehensively in the field of integrative medicine including Complementary Therapies and Cancer at the Bristol Cancer Help Centre and University of West England , she has trained as a Health Creation Mentor with Dr. Rosy Daniel.
